PHS FAMILY FIESTA – A DAY OF FUN AND JOY
On 13th August 2016, PHS staff and their family, together with our PSG members had gathered to grace PHS Family Fiesta. Joining them for the occasion were PHS students and their families too. It was the first year that PHS had organised this event and it was indeed a successful one, with everyone having a part to play.
The event started off with announcements at the Bethel Hall and a surprise for all was the live broadcast of the Rio Olympic Games’ 100m Butterfly Stroke Finals (Men). That feeling of glory that everyone witnessed live when Joseph Isaac Schooling swam his path to victory in just 50.39 seconds was heart-warming! Yes, that first Gold medal that he won for Singapore was indeed a 51st Birthday gift for our nation!
Adding on to that joy that kick-started the day were activities which were planned for all the guests by PHS staff. Activities like Minute to Win It games, bookmark making and sandwich making were conducted concurrently and all the guests were actively participating in the activities.
All in all, it was a day of fun and joy for everyone especially since everyone took time off their busy schedules to come together and participate in the PHS Family Fiesta.
